Today, I've continued editing our music video, all the final shots have been added. I've played the whole video checking if the storyline was presented clearly, I've asked one of our teachers if they understood the concept of the narrative and he said not quite, so he suggested a technique called 'Anchorage' - Prominent actors such as Michel Gondry have used this technique in many of his works. - With this, A thought bubble will have to be placed just above the artist whilst she's asleep and from there would be a cut going into the dream. I would have to use photoshop to create the bubble. But this technique could really benefit us from achieving our goal: expressing the narrative as clear as possible. So next week, I'm going to explain this method with the rest of the group then we'll see if we can attempt to apply this method.
Anchorage
"attach meaning to something through either the matching of words to images or the juxtaposition of two images which construct a meaning."

Here is a rough sketch of what my teacher drew, he drew the scene where the artist is sleeping, above he drew a thought bubble explaining how that can be drawn in photoshop and can be imported into premiere pro. We are also able to import the video for about 2 seconds (inside the thought bubble) before cutting into the actual footage as this can clearly present the idea of the video being all a dream. Although there's not enough time to incorporate this, I will consider this idea
