These props will bring out the narrative that we aim to present clearly throughout our music video...
Bed
Ella will be shown wearing pajamas at the beginning and end of the video.
This photo is shown in the video. It was taken during a day out. Ella is positioned next to her 'lover' (best friend's boyfriend) His arms are around her which show their relationship. However, Ella is left on the side which shows she's isolated, quite distanced from the two. This reveals the tension.
The scissors are shown when Ella cuts the photo. We see her cut her best friend only to see her and the boy together. In terms of Todorov, this is the part where the audience notice the disruption of the equilibrium - she wants him even though he's taken.
Ella's dreams take place whilst she's sleeping, the audience will see her fall into a deep sleep which will then transition into the forest.
